When setting up your rockspace camera, Wi-Fi is needed to add the camera to your rockhome account.
Important: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is required when setting up your camera.
After setup, as long as an SD card is inserted into the camera, it can record videos even if there is no Internet connection. For more information, visit How to insert SD card to my rockspace smart camera.
An internet connection is only required when the footage needs to be accessed remotely.
