This article applies to RSD0607 (AC750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender), RSD0608 (AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender), RSD0617 (AC2100 Wi-Fi Range Extender), RSD0618 (AX1800 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender), and RSD0623 (AC2100 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender).
If you forgot the range extender's Wi-Fi password, you can recover it by connecting an Ethernet cable to the router.
Recover a lost Wi-Fi password
Is there a computer or smartphone connected to your Wi-Fi Range Extender wirelessly?
- If Yes, go to Step 1.
- If No, connect your range extender with your computer using an Ethernet cable and continue.
Step 1: Launch a web page and enter http://re.rockspace.local (RSD0607, RSD0608, RSD0617 and RSD0618) or http://www.rockspacewifi.com (RSD0623) in the address bar.
Step 2: Log in with your Admin Password.
Step 3: Click Settings then Wireless.
Step 4: Go to WiFi Settings, and look for WiFi Password. Click on eye icon to show your Wi-Fi Password.
